Had a poor interaction with staff today – apples were unlabeled and I didn’t know which ones they were, as my child had picked them out. The employee rolled his eyes at me. He asked if I was a co-op member and I said yes, then he rudely followed with “Not REI co-op. This co-op,” as if I didn’t know where I was. Staff are consistently standoffish and disaffected, but I do not expect to be treated rudely. It is antithetical to a community business to have unhelpful and rude staff.
