Cooperatives are democratic organizations controlled by their members, who actively participate in setting policies and making decisions. At the Olympia Food Co-op, we encourage all members to be part of this cooperative in many ways – from offering suggestions for products to carry, to voting for your Board of Directors or other member initiated ballots – from serving as working members, to joining us celebrating community at events such as the Harvest party and Zuke Fest.
