Transitioning to Vegan

Calling all curious omnivores and almost-there vegetarians! If you have considered going vegan but are unsure how to make the switch in diet and lifestyle, come learn and ask questions at this interesting and informative workshop. We will discuss dietary changes and replacements of all kinds, shopping lists, plant-based protein questions, FDA guidelines, the vegan food pyramid, ingredient replacements for cooking and baking, the standard “Western Diet” and animal advocacy. You will take home free recipes, ingredient replacement lists for common recipes, and daily recommended nutrition guidelines. There will be helpful and reasonably priced books for purchase.
