Summer Drinking Vinegars

$7Drinking vinegars (a.k.a. Shrubs) are delicious and healthy, especially when made with summer fruits that you might harvest yourself or find at the Coop. Join us! Savor a strawberry/basil/balsamic shrub while making your own shrub to take home. You will also learn the history of shrubs and get some recipes/ideas for flavor combinations.
Ana Brinson became interested in fermenting as a child. Her dad made sauerkraut which she loved to eat. She created a business in Costa Rica making and selling fermented vegetables, ginger beers and kombucha. She loves to cook and invent and share her knowledge of healthy eating. She’s at her happiest when her kitchen is a science lab.
