Making & Cooking with Broth

In this class, we will discuss some bone broth basics with a focus on chicken broth. You will learn how to part a roasted chicken, make bone broth in a crock pot, and review various soups made with chicken bone broth. Rylee will provide prepared broth for sampling, and we will also discuss some of the history of broth in the American food system and how it got pushed out of our diet. There will be rich and savory samples, as well as time for your questions.
