Come to this workshop hosted by stewards of the Nisqually Community Garden, where you will learn how to make your own herbal remedies and support this summer’s Canoe Journey, which is being hosted by the Nisqually Tribe. Each participant will make something to bring home as well as a gift to be shared with participants of the Canoe Journey (for more information about the annual Canoe Journey, visit http://www.paddletonisqually.com/). What we will make will depend on what is ready for harvest from the Nisqually Community Garden’s medicinal plants. Come ready to push your sleeves up and learn a lot!
