For the closing day of the Olympia Film Festival, we sponsored this new film – with celebrated chefs Anthony Bourdain, Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Massimo Bottura, and Danny Bowien – presenting new ways of creating incredible dishes from what many folks would consider scraps of food. WASTED! shows how food waste directly contributes to climate change, pointing out that one of the biggest contributors to green house gas is food that is thrown away. The film presents ideas and options for individuals to make their contributions of small changes – and eat delicious food – while helping to solve these problems.
